Leagues for Madden 25

As we edge closer to release date, we are pleased to announce the Madden leagues that will be running for Madden 25 as follows:

 

The PFL

10 minute quarters, 1 game per week, offline franchise with no trading/contracts etc.

 

Pro Franchise

10 minute quarters, 2 games per week, online franchise.

 

Xpress

8 minute quarters, 2 games per week, online franchise

 

UKML

8 minute quarters, advance every 5 days, online franchise

 

Pro-7

7 minute quarters, 1 game per week - This league is likely to have restrictions on entry which are currently in discussion. More to follow!

 

GM Franchise

Owner mode/GM only, advance every 2 days, online franchise with all games simmed.

 

 

Sign up threads are already available for the Xpress and UKML, a waiting list is available for the pro and PFL and sign ups to the other leagues will be available soon.

 

If demand is high enough once the game is released we will also consider running a fantasy franchise.

When next gen consoles are released we will set up leagues to meet demand.

I just don't have that much time anymore (and only going to get worse), I still enjoy playing Madden but I just find it such a hassle knowing that I have to get on at said time to play an hour long game which eats into my already small amount of "free time" (or playing whilst on the phone which is ill-advised). I also see myself playing nothing but BF4 and GTA V once they are out.

Will definately miss playing in the leagues but I just can't bring myself to pay £40 and commit hours to it...

I considered it in the xpress but it's just not possible

Based on starting 1 week after release, doing the playoffs in around a week, simming pre-season etc, it was still something like week 14 of season 5 at release date of the next version

One of the things i thought was to start a league, have the managers assigned to each team and sim through the first 5 seasons and then starting playing the games after that time. Is there any appetite for this? Would be interesting to see how young rookies develop over the 10 years instead of the 5 we have currently.

Zo so, I don't think there's even a need to go that far, 2-3 years and then play

This has been talked about before but it was always felt people wanted to start from season one, especially if they snagged their team.
