Sounds good hopefully with one full league more effort will be put in from people as it will be harder to get in and stay in. Been watching some of that MBL league stuff on youtube and while im not saying we should go that far its certainly something to aspire to. Not going to lie this slightly worries me, depinding what your thinking of changing but id hate to see us move away from sim style to a more "lobby" style gameplay as i fear that would drive alot of people away as i know i hate playing that style myself.

I get that but how do we know who is and isnt a top bloke though just because they dont play in flm they might be a beast at Fifa

In fairness i dont see what the problem is letting phil in anyways ok he may play fifa alot more and smash us but then the top madden players on this site play alot more and smash us but we dont say they can no longer play in the leagues, just a bit of fun anyways so im expecting to get smashed 5-0 at some point

Yeah get signed up to one if not both of the leagues makes cfm a million times better online and good community here too

As for playbooks you are free to use any teams playbooks as long as it isn't custom, so you could use browns offense and giants defense while playing as the Vikings for example

Just checking you are aware we are mainly European based so most games will be arranged on GMT hours

Although I always do my reports and believe everyone should, I don't think we should force it with punishments, if people can't be bummed to even just report the score minimum takes 1 minute, then just leave them to it, punishments don't feel like the right way to encourage people to post to me

I wouldnt panic guys like @Riverman said we always have a drop off, i think unfortunately we just had a few in real close succession but its just coincidence as most have stated its down to work / life issues which we just have to respect and keep the door open for when they can return. So in the words of a certain qb All the commissioners do a fantastic job and the leagues would just not run without them, yes they have to make difficult decisions at times that wont please 100% of the coaches but they always decide what they believe is best for the franchise (and on a lot of things they usually give us a vote and a say if they can) Ive been here 3 and half years and i cant remember a moment where ive had a problem during a game with another coach, yes we all get angry with madden at times but we all seem to forget about the times we get the fortune go our way and tend to only focus when it goes against us. We just need to keep respecting each other when we play, dont be win at all costs lets enjoy the game together, and this means not running the score up if an opponent is having a bad day especially against newer madden players who might be playing for the first time they arent going to stick around then! Maybe i got lucky but when i joined id only just started playing madden and didnt know anything (when i look back its actually cringeworthy) but so many people helped me whether tips during the game or pm after it and its that community friendship that keeps us strong, and i do feel like we need more of that community feeling back. @DaBurg864 videos were great addition to the site (i know if they were available when started would of gave me a lot easier time getting used to madden), i used to love reading all the quick hits weekly reports etc, i know they take time and appreciate cant always be done but there has virtually been nothing last year or so (im guilty aswell as others). I really think these things keep the players engaged and want to stay around thats why i did the division previews before the start of the franchise . The other thing is the achievements in the forums when we used to have the badges when i won my first COTY badge i displayed it with pride (might sound sad to some) but things like this keeps players something to stride towards and a feeling of being part of something as in the league itself can only be 12 people in playoffs and only 1 eventual winner. I agree with @Vondia that @StueyH111 topic about his team was great and inspired me to do my hardknocks Lions series, again was going to do something similar this year but didnt have time (so again thats on me), but i will try and bring it back for sure and would encourge others to try things like this as it gets your more engaged with your team and will want to stick it out for the long run. As for the rules @ojm84 i get what your saying but i have to say i like the fact they are in place. Ive played lobby games and they are awful people going hurry up every play (usually then spamming the same play again and again) fake punts / fg i think could lead to too many incidents of disagreements / rage quits and are super-rare in the NFL. Just arent fun games to play in my opinion and I think the majority of people join this league because they are fed up of playing those types of games. So im guessing in summary the site will survive, lets all try and get more things going on the site / in the community, and just respect each other and create that nice friendly environment when we play each other.
