Hey Guys

 

I recently went to the states to referee in the Dallas Cup football (soccer :D ) tournament and I was hooked after my homestay family talked me through the NFL rules, teams and the build up to the draft. So when I came home I bought Madden immediately and ive been learning ever since. I've pretty much been reading about the NFL since I got back in April and took a great interest in the draft. I joined up here as i'd like to learn from more experianced players in a social atmosphere and have some fun along the way!

 

My team has to be the Cowboys! :cowboys: I think my adopted texan family may disown me otherwise  :bigsmile:  

 

Im 28 and live with my wife and 3 kids and Im currently studying accountancy (Yawn :bigsmile: ).

Ha ha. Welcome mate.

Plenty of accountants in here from what I've seen. Must be something about accountants and the NFL.

Welcome to the site mate. Think we have 4 leagues currently starting their final season with teams available.

UKML - 1 game every 5 days - Jags available

The PFL - 1 game per week - Texans Available

XPress - 2 games per week - not sure what teams available

Pro 7 - 1 game per week - not sure what teams are available

Think the Pro 7 is half way through its last season but the other 3 are just starting their final season. I'll let the commish's of each league tell you who's available if I haven't been able to tell you.

Accountant makes sense I suppose what with Cap Management etc.

Welcome mate, shame about being a Cowgirls fan but there's plenty of the pookeynoodles on here!!! :lol:

Not the Commish but Xpress has the Cardinals, Giants + Dolphins free I believe, it's fast paced but a lot of fun, well worth a go if you can manage 2 games a week. :up:

I think I will enjoy it, the only person I have to speak NFL with is one guy from work... He's an absolute nut about it!

 

I'm liking the look of the Xpress league... couple of games a week would suit me and if the Cowboys are free that would be perfect (I know its a slim chance :D )

I am the commish of the Xpress, there are currently 3 teams available but by far the better of the 3 is the Cardinals, unless you like some 'funky' team building

We play 2 games a week, Mon-wed and thu-sun, and WR are entering the final season, this week is free agency with the draft on Friday at 10 :up:

I can imagine there probably are loads of Cowboy fans here... I hear your never further than 100 miles from one at any one time  :D

 

Not too fussy with the team, i think i'd prefer The Giants. Getting the games in should be ok... I like learning the hard and fast way!

I would say about 60% of the site play 10pm or later. Most are flexible. On the odd occasion you may also need to be flexible and play slightly earlier though.

There are always weekends to get your games in during the day too.
