Sportsmanship: Use the Golden Rule. Treat others how you wish to be treated. Don't run up the score to pad your stats. If you have someone down and beaten, late in the game, have some class and run the clock out without rubbing salt in their wounds. As guidance, you can do whatever you want in the first 3 quarters. However in Quarter 4 once you are up by 25 or more points you should be calling plays which try and run the clock down.

 

Some of you need a reminder on this rule.

While you might think it's fun to pad out your stats in an attempt to get some sort of virtual award, doing it at the expense of sportsmanship is not acceptable in any of the leagues on this site.

If getting the TD record or rushing yards record means more to you than having a bit of respect towards your opponent, then you are on the wrong site.

 

League commissioners will be handing out bans and suspensions for those who flaunt this rule. Take this as your warning. There won't be any second chances.
