So I guess this is ahoy Gents and Ladies.

From the UK, and only been following NFL since about week 3 of last season, recently settled on the Bears as my team just in time to see them fall apart and get nudged out of the playoffs by the Vikings. But swings and roundabouts I guess. Always next year.

So far as Madden goes been playing it a couple months longer than I've been following the NFL and I guess I'm average at it, probably a bit below. Either way my online record stands at a staggering 1-1... yeah I'm not the biggest online player, but hopefully I may start playing more if I can get involved in a community such as this, and maybe, just maybe, one day pluck up the nards to join an online season .

So that's my introduction, such as it is. If you'll have me, I'll try and buck my usual lurkerish tendencies and contribute from time to time. If not, just nod me towards the exit and I'll grab my coat.

You should join a league mate. I was the same, I'd only played Madden about a month or 2 and joine UKML. I think I won 2 games and 1 was against the CPU. I was terrible, and I'm still not that good. I left the league because I was moving house etc, but wait to rejoin when a team becomes available for me. Its not overly competative, its great fun, and people are always around to help. Its a good way to have fun, get to improve your game, get to know more about the tactics etc. Its way better than playing people at random in quick match.

Well thanks for the welcome guys, I'm sure I'll get round to adding a couple people later tonight or after the weekend sometime and seeing how I match up . Was thinking about it at work today and may just jump in the deep end and sign up for one of the leagues in the next few days, how bad can a 0-16 record be anyway.
