A caution if you're in the Xbox preview program

If you are part of the Xbox dashboard preview program, there is a bug in the build that was released a few days ago, where you often won't be able to open EA Sports games, primarily FIFA and Madden

There's 2 ways of getting around it. The first is to go in to the preview registration app and un-register yourself. That can take 24 hours and rolls you back to the most recent public build

Alternatively, I've found that taking your Xbox offline, booting the game and then going back online works fine. You can do that through the network tab in your Xbox settings

Just a warning if you're in the program and have a franchise game coming up

Happened to me, I left the program to fix it. Might get back in after it's sorted. All EA games failed.

I read on the preview forums that if you leave you can auto enroll back into it right away so no damage done

The cortana thing is annoying as hell

cortana is an annoying feature, it does nothing useful. Shame I didn't know about the offline work around.

Just an update, there's a fix out now that sorts this problem, it's being rolled out in waves apparently but mine was updated at 8.11pm last night

Anyone care to send us an invite into the Xbox one preview program? It would be appreciated. 

May fix my chat issue without a full reset of my box. 

Dunno if it's still possible but xbox state

May take a while to come through, I believe they've scaled back the acceptances lately due to how in demand it's been

I have been reading about the scaling back of acceptances online this evening.
