  1. Would be interesting to get to know how the site functions and all that, as of now, I do not have the appropriate amount of information on this as I have never been a VIP member nor been involved in the chat about these things.

One thing is for sure that I couldn't think of anyone else but @TopLoader to take on the leadership and carry out all these changes in the future. Seems like a good bloke who is very interested in the website/madden and our community and would do whatever is the best for us. Will be looking forward to more news on this. :pfl:

  2. It's american football guys. look at a game, every other play someone leaves limping off the field  with sprains and whatnot. thats the game.

If you dont want injuries, H2H is what you are after. Building a team requires more than your star players, depth is what football is about. (look at falcons or patriots)

Still we only played one week fully

Good stuff - hopefully they have a rebound year - I'm sure @rayski will be happy his no longer the only Colt fan here now

I think Marlon Mack can have a huge impact for us. Rebound year? Will see. sooner or later we gonna have to spend picks on front seven for that.

thinking about it now...you want to keep it sim. fine keep the confidence. i'll lose more than i win anyway

however then i'd like 1 thing. get rid of the s**tty 6 year contracts to all your bum depth players have that every gm seems to hand out in here.

Yes, contracts need talking about. same with FA.

i have no idea how a locker room works? i still actively play icehockey and last time i checked it's not a solo sport, but i guess you're right. :g:

not sure how you;d know what i call all game since you don't see my adjustments, but ok. i probably call more cover 2 than 3, so at least get your facts straight :shifty:

there's losing and then there's losing thanks to madden.
anyways i thought the aim is to have a more competitive league but with comments like this i guess not. otherwise the easiest solution to level the playing field is to turn confidence off.
with the current confidence system (unlike last madden) worse players get worse, more actual stat regression, while better players get better players + more actual stat upgrades.  so really bad players just get double f**ked while the good players get their old man's Johnson and balls sucked at the same time ;)

With the madden app you can see what percentage coaches call certain play etc.

Fair enough. Turning it off makes more sense than resetting it every other week or whenever. I actually do agree that it levels the chances but I think it's sim and it does what it supposed to.(with a reset the end of the year) Give advantage to teams who win and vice versa.

you just have no clue what you're talking about

for info, i can see the difference this season being 5-4 rather than my usual 2-7.
my oline is holding for once compared to previous seasons. but yeah we'll just blame other s**t

    Oh mate, really?? :lmao:

Of course you play different, you think the Browns are supposed to be as psyched up for a game as the Pats. Probably you have no idea how a locker room works either then. You lose and you dont change you'll lose more, you win, you win more. Thats why its sim mate.

Maybe if you lost 10 in a row try and call something else than Cover 3, I can assure you other cover plays work just as well :2up:

Losing supposed to make you play and focus better, not whine more.

  7. This is looking interesting. I think we will have more than 32 coaches interested in a league so finding or losing a spot for key members of the site could be an issue.

I, for one, think changing the confidence is irrelevant. Confidence is sim imo. Coaches who struggle will find something else to blame their s**t on anyway.

I think the main problem of the site is that there is a big gap between the very good players and the decent players, so most coaches are stuck without any improvement for seasons, thats why we have the same names coming back to the playoffs each season. Coaches needs to start seeing that they can improve if they want and there is no better way to do so then with the new game. Madden is getting more and more sim in its gameplay and in order to be successful you need to understand the game of actual football better.

    LET IT BURN!

It is a beta version so i suspect they will be looking to add features gradually.

At the very least you can check if your opponent is online, the wee has advance and if a trade has been proposed on the game and when it has been resolved.

Still a long way to go but at least theres something and its a start.

Well lads, been on the site nearly 2 years now I think but iv finally made the big jump from PS4 to Xbox. Just said I'd put it up in here because I'm in bad need of practise on the Xbox (keep throwing to the wrong receivers cause I'm so used to the ps4 layout ). Works a bit crazy now so I won't put myself down on any of the waiting list quiet yet but hopefully in the new year. My gamer tag is scottyob93. Looking toward to actually getting to know ye all and getting some games in :pfl:

Jump on with the Pats man, real player practice makes wonders :pfl:

did this for about 4 years. trying to beat a friend who played football himself, was a youth coach and is playing madden for about 20 years... never had a chance :wild: it's because playing against the cpu is a different world. ok, i lack some years of experience. But i think, joining a league would help a lot to get better and finally be able to beat him :sneaky1:

Defo mate, I played myself for a long time as well, helps you understand the strategy behind the game but here you'll learn quickly that if you wanna win games you need to adjust to different coaches attitude towards off/def. Great to have rivalries going on and trying to figure out how your opponent will try and attack you.

or just play the game haha

    Hi guys,

Saw the post on NFL UK Facebook page. Been beating the CPU on Madden for 7 years, and recently been playing more and more online. I'm looking for a connected franchise fantasy draft league if there's space in one?

    Cheers!

Done the same thing before joining here buddy, you'll love it, I dont even play cpu games anymore! Welcome and enjoy the site and your future rivalries ;)
