That's because nobody has it, yet! Massive file, apparently. Personally, I'd rather the shoutbox was kept closed so that when the inevitable chat from m13 does come, everybody can see it.

Hello mate, welcome to the site. ability isn't an issue, here. There are plenty of guys around who are more than willing to give up some time to help out new players and playing in a community like this is the best way to improve. Currently we have spaces in the new pro-5 franchise, which was created especially with newcomers in mind. There are also spaces in the pfl, which is the offline competition that this site was founded on. All other leagues currently have a waiting list. Put your name down for any that take your fancy and add some people to your friend list for some friendly games

We are delighted to announce that we have decided to run a 6th league for Madden 13! There is still over a week to go until the release of Madden 13, but we have already filled up all 5 leagues and have waiting lists for most. This means that, with an expected influx around release time, we need another league to ensure that we have somewhere for everyone to play. The new league will be called the Pro-5 league: 5 day advance 8 minute quarters other rules to be decided. We are making this available, initially, to new site members and people playing in just one other league, only. A Sign up thread will be available shortly. I will be the commissioner for this league and I am happy to have input on how people think the team selection should be done. I would like to thank all of the community members from the staff team. The fact that we are having to open up another new league just goes to show how great this site and its members are. Hopefully we can now attract even more people and continue to grow. Cheers Dickie

I'm pretty sure all staff are also vips, but even if not, we would need access to moderate it. As has been said, the while point is that the stuff that goes on in the shoutbox is great, so we want everyone to be a part of it

Why not? That's what the Sports Bar is there for? It's the forum that keeps the site alive, not the shoutbox.

The reason for it is a good one, mate. The shoutbox is a very short term thing. If you're not online at the time, then you miss the conversation, especially with everyone having access. There are a lot of good conversations in there that would be better posted on the board for everybody to see when they log in - something that isn't happening at the moment. It is being opened up for Sundays as that will obviously be the peak 'chat' period during the season, with people able to talk about the games etc.
