Davo i see where you guys are coming from 100%, i just love the shoutbox. Probably the reason why i prefer it and dont post a whole lot outside of my own league is that i post quite a bit on the Irish site and dont have the time to get into deep conversations on here, the shoutbox allows me to dip in and out

You can get it, if you choose the full version of the site. I use the mobile version of this site and the irish franchise site (no shoutbox there)

The majority of topics there are NFL related, the shoutbox can go off on a tangents in a way a thread never will

Beard i see your point, but there's also a lot of non Madden related chat in there, yesterday myself and future i think chatted for a couple of hours about spread betting, we wouldnt do that in a thread on the forum

Initially i wasnt too keen on the headset.. but now i may play 1 game out of 20 without it (including friendlies) it's good to have a bit of banter. Now some dont talk at all really but a few of the lads are chatterboxes!
