The single sign on for MaddenPFL & Pro Evo Network has now been disabled. RGM Community has been deleted and FLM is about to be mothballed.
So both MaddenPFL & Pro Evo Network will become singular entities (So, if you make any changes to your PFL account, they will effect the PFL account only).
I have no doubt that there will be a long standing link between the sites, with cross promotion as either side looks to recruit or has anything special on the go that could do with a few extra eyeballs.

I hope that we can continue with some cross promotion between PEN and here. Mutually beneficial. And I have another project I'm working on outside of gaming, but will also promote this place on there, however succesful that may be (if it ever gets off the ground )

and @TopLoaderis a top man, tbh havent got around to switching my VIP back on after i rejoined last year, but if someone can point me in the direction i'll kick this off again.
I know TL will share, but i would be been that everyone is aware of the costs of running the site and how you can contribute, whether that is directly with a VIP memberhsip or adding content and getting ads etc

With regards to the VIP thing, hold off until TopLoader has MaddenPFL running under him and set it up with him as he will need help with funding the hosting and any other costs you guys are looking to add with various forum tweaks and mods.
Exciting times lads, a new leader, maintaining what you have but more hands on to help the site become even more successful.

I agree, you've done a great job with Daddyleagues and if you understand all this and people think you;re the best man for the job, then I've got no issues. I remember your site years ago looked very good.
MaddenPFL needs someone that is madden orientated, technical enough to ensure it actually works and has a history of running websites.
TopLoader doesn't want to step on anyone's toes, and he's trying to stay out of the way of things as everything is running nicely, but eventually, that may wobble a bit and he is gonna have to be the captain of the ship and make some course corrections.
Whether he claims to be or not, he will be where the buck stops.
So while its great running now, someone needs to be looking 3 or 4 steps ahead or the good work that is done now will be undone when there is transition in the member base or the staff team.

Needs someone at the helm with a distinct vision of how to push the place forward, madden-centric.
I’d be doing the place a disservice by staying put and if we really want the place to flourish (and I do), then me putting someone in place to do that with me still behind the scenes will end up with me dabbling. I don’t want that, I want it as clean a slate as possible with no involvement from myself as I think that will see it fulfil its potential with all of you guys rallying round TL to ensure this.

My first pick to take the helm of MaddenPFL.
Passionate about Madden and the MaddenPFL community and it’s running.
Savvy with what required from a website aspect and technical enough to handle that aspect.
TopLoader will take full control but I have no doubt it will be business as usual (and probably better) but with even more control of other aspects of the site than there is with me involved.
I’ve moved this from VIP to public as there ain’t that many Madden VIPs on the books and I think you want as much opinion as you can muster judging by your post.

We've just upgraded to the latest version. There's a few new features, some I need to enable, others are just general around the forums.

Its just not having a member group either as primary or secondary.
VIP just gets you VIP forum along with the other extras.
Nope, someone changed his primary group to VIP and his secondary group to VIP.
VIP only gives you posting access to the VIP forum, you need another group on top for everywhere else.
Whacked you in the Coaches group primary and VIP secondary.

Single sign on. Log in to one and then you'll be logged in on all.
If you've got the correct account details.
Case in point, someone had existing accounts on FLM, Madden, PEN, and RGM, but had 4 different email addresses and 4 variations to his username. Clusterf**k

It'll try to log you in to all, failing that, will log you in locally only. Primary Log in handler will be the cross site log in though. Can't change that unfortunately.
Methods to follow BEFORE posting in here;
NOTE: Primary email address should be the email address you use for the site you are on the most. Check what that is before proceeding.
1. Check that you can access all sites with your email address.
Some of you have different email address on different sites, try and change them, if you are unsuccesful in being able to change them in that it says the email address is already taken, post in here detailing what your primary email address is and what accounts on what sites you can't access.
2. If you can not log in to one site, try registering and using your primary email address. Sometimes this will kickstart the Single Sign On for you.
3. Check if Single Sign On Works
If you are logged in there, try the other two.
If you are posting an issue in here, make sure you make it clear, not long winded and easy to follow. If its a clusterf**k, I will just ignore it. Not enough info, I'll just ignore it. Help me, help you.

Starting the middle of next week, we will be changing the forum log in method.
Currently its a choice of display name or email address. With the single sign on for the RGM Network of sites, its created a bit of an issue for some with existing accounts and some with accounts on both sites and differing email addresses etc.
As I've stated, new accounts will not have any issue with the single sign on, so, bit of a ballache to rectify, but here's what we're going to be doing;
New Login Method & What You Need To Do
We will be changing it to email login only. Some of you have experienced difficulty logging in across sites with the single sign on.
You will need to check on each site prior to this change that you can log in with the same email address on all 4 sites.
I am expecting further problems with this, but its in an effort to correct any issues and ensure that you all benefit from the great feature we have with the single sign on.
We've seen this week how much of an impact it has had with cross promotion with regards to the highlights of the month competition and the additional exposure its had. Having the same ease of access across all 4 sites will just encourage further engagement between sites, expanding your friends list and increasing the overall size of community we have.
I am going to start a thread for people to post in with any issues on each forum. I'll be on over the weekend addressing these prior to the switch next week.

When PFL was upgraded this skin wasn't available for this version of software so I picked one out that would do a job in the meantime.

Mr Dai Doh here had different email addresses for his accounts on here and on one of the other sites. So when this change took place, he ended up with another account on here for that email address. A quick display name edit and then merge and all good.
So, if you see anyone logged in on a New Member Group setting instead of their usual one, flag it up and we'll sort it.

Server Upgrade
We've now bumped our hardware up quite substantially to cope with the increased load the software and increased traffic we've been experiencing recently. Its been gradually picking up since February based on the graphs I was looking at, but due to both seasons starting on FLM & PEN, traffic went up another level 
Anyway, you may have seen some strange goings on around 8 or 9pm last night. We are now on the new server.
New Login Info
As you know, this site is part of the RGM network of sites. RGM, FLM, PEN, MaddenPFL. We now have a single sign on, meaning the following;
You now have an account on all 4 sites.
Its a single sign on. Log in on one, you're logged in on all of them.
Single sign off as well, sign out on log out of one, you log out of all of them.
This will make cross site access for people that want to try out different games or get involved with other communities can and will do so.
You will see a few forums on here soon that will not act as forums, but as links to the other forums for anything that is more specific to them. You'll see what I mean soon.
This is another step in bringing the 4 sites closer together while the 3 sibling sites still maintaining their identity.
There may be some teething problems, but its easily resolved, just use one of the contact methods on any of the forums.

Server upgrade, could have waited until tonight, but wanted to get it out of the way and not be faffing about at butt f**k o'clock if s**t went pear shaped.
Just so happened that during the switch, the domain ownership also switched from me to @TopLoader, which essentially means that MaddenPFL and everything therein is now owned by the man himself.
There will be another outage in the next week or two where Toploader switches over to MaddenPFL owned hosting and then its 100% complete.
Again, apologies for not having any warning, I've been dragging this on for the last week or so with the host.
Anyway, all done now.
