Played in the sliders community last night and didn't notice that much of a difference to be honest..... didn't make the coverage feel better of worse.
Both QB's finished with high % of completion I think this is mainly down to the QBs not throwing more than 10-15 yards. The blocking remained strong as I expected it to but that was mostly down to us blocking 6 v 6 man blitzes. I think there was only 1 or 2 sacks. Didn't really notice much of a difference with the runs but I don't know if thats due to the way we both played.
Ultimately, I didn't really notice a difference from the current normal sliders.

From what I saw there was a thread for VIPs to give their thoughts on possibility of sliders. Ive been active in that tbf.
I didnt see any thread suggesting we would actually implement a slider with or without a poll - apologies if i missed that.
I just feel non VIPs and VIPs should get a vote on that and you always have in the past and i expect will in the future - although I reckon this particular slider would have been voted "in" anyway which is probably why you didnt, i was just suprised

I think the biggest news was when they said you could record games like the PS announced and some of the exclusive content to be honest it was basically a teaser for E3

If it becomes pay to play I imagine you'll lose a huge amount of members, I can only just make myself pay for Xbox Live so no way am I going to pay another £30-40 per league each year...
How excactly are the costs spiralling? I know the site costs money to run, but when you setup 'Support MaddenPFL', you said you needed 12 or so members to cover costs, you have more then double that... The admins getting paid or something?
As an accountant I to would be interested in this, whilst I think this is a good idea for a segment of the community I hope it doesn't disenfranchise the community here as you have built a great community

I would like some further clarification on dropping a DE into coverage and manually controlling him.
I from time to time hot route my DE into flats or spy's to cover appropriate routes as needed. However from time to time if my opponent has thrown a Texas route to the HB or a drag across the middle I will user to take away the read and perhaps get the pick. Is this considered against the rules if I'm changing my def play to counter an offensive play that has stopped me.
Also the only reason I would user the DE in this situation is I would have more faith in my user skill v CPU coverage. To date I haven't had the need to do this however it is something I do turn to when playing a ranked game when I feel it is necessary.
