As a few of you may be aware, Immature Gamers merged and moved under the Daily Gaming Network banner last Friday. We've been running a week to the day, broke through the 100 members barrier, accrued over 2,000posts and are looking at various leagues and gaming nights for the near future. What does this mean for MaddenPFL? Well, as I'm involved behind the scenes on both communities, both sites are now partnered up. Currently its a simple RSS Feed in your gaming forum and we're gonna be promoting this place when Madden'13 is due for release as a starter, but I am looking at more ways of integrating and cross promotion. Eventually, I will be merging both databases so that your account here will also gain you access over there without the need for re-registering, and anyone over there that signs up thats a Madden nut will be able to log in over here with their same info. (we had something like this in the past with XBLN & PS3N which worked really well). So, if you help promote MaddenPFL on twitter or facebook, chuck a mention to DGN as well. I'll be ensuring the same is done over on DGN. Cheers lads.

Forum updated. Skin updated. Shoutbox updated. Awards system updated. Blog not updated, license is up on that, so it may work, it may cause errors, if it does throw up something random its because its for a previous version of the board. Shoutbox needs to be looked at but is functional. 1 feature I wanted to implement doesn't seem to be working. Will look in to it tomorrow. Enjoy.

Thought there would be more backlash with this. Compared to last time, this is a breeze. The social aspect is a benefit of the microphones and this place wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't for the likes of Rigglar, Berty and co getting on the mic and becoming BFFs BUT, the main reason for this in all leagues that have been run on here, IG/XBLN/PEN/DGN is to neutralise issues before they hit the forum. If there's a problem, a quick chat will resolve it before there's a slanging match on the forum and the community vibe gets f**ked with because two people are too ignorant to resolve things amicably over the mic. In a game like FIFA, the gameplay isn't restricted by rules set out to make the game more enjoyable. Madden, you guys have a mahoosive rulebook and certain plays might be fine, some might not, you may want to run things by your opponent or whatever. Plenty more examples of why a mic should be used in this thread, but thats why its mandatory in all leagues. Its good to talk

Gonna be upgrading the forum at some point today, more than likely around lunchtime-ish. Won't see that many changes, although there will be a new mobile skin.
