I'll be driving up (f**king hate public transport), so if 1 person (I only have 2 seater cars) wants a lift up on the Saturday and/or a lift back the Monday they're welcome (I'll be travelling from London to Manchester so anywhere in between is good).

This is now sadly the highlight of my social calendar for the coming weeks (still got 3 and a half weeks training left to do in Basingstoke to be a Signaller for Network Rail). 

Need to remember to book the Monday off work!

Need to book my train actually. Such a pain going from Melton.

It either takes 3 hours on the train and can't leave until 12:30 earliest. Or I have to get to Nottingham to leave earlier and no buses on a Sunday.

Starting to think it might be easier to drive it.

Well, I've booked the train in the end. I'll get there later than I was hoping, but will be in to Manchester Piccadilly at 3.25pm on Sunday.

Staying at the Premier Inn, so will take a walk over and check in. Should be sorted by about 4.00 - 4.30pm.

At least I can have a lie in so that I'm not to knackered come KO. 

Going via Birmingham in case anyone else getting a train from there. I'll be on the 13:57.
