I run my Xbox One wirelessly from a Virgin SuperHub 2 and have been having issues with Madden.

I don't receive invitations in my Madden inbox, I lose connection to the EA servers, people have problems accepting my invitations and last night I was logged out of Xbox Live while trying to join a game.

I also keep losing connection when playing Destiny.

I've changed the wireless channel and I'm going to put the One in the DMZ to see if that helps.

Has anyone else had these problems of have any ideas how to make the %>€$€%%#ing thing work?

Can't; router's upstairs and I'm not having 60ft of cabling draped round the house.

never really had any wifi issues with my virgin superhub and online gaming fortunately.

Does this help?

I’ve got an Xbox One connected to a Super Hub but can’t play online

To play online games a default setting on your Super Hub needs to be changed. Please follow these instructions.
Note: If you’re running the Super Hub in modem mode, you don’t need to do a thing.

1. Enter the Super Hub settings page address into your browser http://192.168.0.1
2. Access the page by entering the default password changeme and username admin. If you’ve changed the default security details to your own password and username, please enter those details.
3. Click Advanced Settings. If you get a warning message, click Yes to continue.
4. In the Security section, click Firewall.
5. Tick the IP Sec Pass-Through box.
6. Click Apply. When the confirmation box appears, click Yes.
7. Click Sign out in the top right of the page.

Hey Shatners ,

I have a Super Hub 2  and have it wired directly into the XBox

I cannot play Fifa Online at all .....  (there is a thread somewhere)  and have had the odd problem with Titanfall ...

Until last night Madden was fine .... but I couldn't connect to PatsUK  , I couldn't join a party either ...    I have a Sky broadband connection upstairs at 1/10 the speed and connected up wirelessly to that ....

it still wouldn't work .....

so I pulled the XBox plug out of the wall for a minute .... and after 1.5 hrs of trying that seemed to work ....

Volki and others recommended that I use the SuperHub as a modem only and I buy a new router .....

I thought so too until I kept getting losing connection from Destiny as well.

I'll DMZ the BOne and see if that helps.

I did the static ip & port forwarding malarkey last night but didn't have time to check if it worked as I'm in work all day today and had an early start. If that doesn't work, it's the DMZ and if that doesn't t work then I have no clue what to try.

Ok, port forwarding hasn't worked and neither has putting the Xbox in the DMZ so I'm giving up and heading out to PC World to get some home plugs.

It's pretty much witchcraft to be honest; it uses your mains wiring as a network.

You get two plugs. You connect one to your router with an RJ45 cable then plug it in to a mains socket.

The other plug goes in the room you want to wire up with an RJ45 cable running to what you want to connect; my XBone in this example.

It's doubled the download speed I was getting wirelessly and eliminated the problems I was having connecting to Xbox Live with a Virgin "Super" Hub 2.

Played Madden and Destiny last night without any problems whatsoever.

You might need look at the ipsec pass through setting on your router,  open up the ports for xbox live or put your xbox ip address in the DMZ.

Had the same issues on fifa was told to do this to sort it

1 - Start the game normally, connected to your main profile, connected to the internet.

2 - When you are on the main menu of the game, switch to any other profile on your ps4, get back in the game.

Hold the middle button and select switch user

3 - Now you need to change the profile in game to the profile you just switched to on the ps4, just go into ultimate team or something, it will ask you if you want to switch to the profile "..." , just say yes.

4 - After this press r3 to connect this profile to EASFC, and the lag should be gone.

5 -Keep the PS button pressed and log out of the ps4 with your dummy profile, connect back to EA servers with your main profile

6 - The lag will now be gone and you will be playing the game with your main profile.

This work on all the latest EA games.
