DON'T WORRY!

 

The next gen consoles are almost upon us and I expect the overriding question for all the Madden players is "What will happen to the leagues?"

This has been talked about plenty of times already, but I thought it would reassure all league members to re-state what's likely to happen.

 

I can't say at this point what how many leagues will run on which console. It won't be until we know who's gone for which console and also when they are buying them that we'll have a better idea of what's needed.

 

What I can say is that there will be a league or two across any console that has enough players. I fully expect there to be leagues running on XBox 360, XBox One and PS4.

 

For all you eager beavers getting your console on Day 1 and Madden 25 on Day 2, there'll be register of interest threads going up close to release date.

I'll be stick on the 360 for another year then I think I'll be getting the Xbone for Xmas next year!

after pestering Riggs and posting on the forums for a little advice I've decided to hold off moving to next gen until at least the new year, even then I'll probably keep the the 360 for my Madden games until the next instalment is released

 

as for which console......... f**k knows!!!

The bigger question is if there is, will it just be another port of Madden 13 with exactly the same damn bugs

I'll be getting Madden 25 for the Xbox One on release, hoping a few on here get it so we can start up a league.

There surely will be M15 for the 360...seeing as the XBONE is not going to be backward comptable.

 

Therefore more big bucks for EA = needing to release M15 on the 360 for the foreseeable future.the bigger customer base should realistically be still the 360 so to stop making Madden for it would be a little suicidal imo.

 

It wouldnt make me rush out and buy the XBONE any quicker...they can do one

Ditto. Microsoft would miss out on a lot if they stopped releasing games on 360. I just can't afford a nextGen console
