More U S Sports Coming To Maddenpfl

I'm pleased to announce that NHL is coming to MaddenPFL.

 

A PS3 and an Xbox league have been running on our sister site Fifaleaguemanager for some time now and it seems fitting that they are given the opportunity to thrive in a community already boasting a strong commitment to US Sports gaming fans.

Tiernobyl will be tech support for the leagues with the already familiar face of QuiteLife and a newcomer, dockers11 running the leagues.

 

Added to the well established Madden leagues, an NCAA league and the promising NBA 2K13 league the site is moving from strength to strength. New members with a common interest can only help to ensure the popularity and longevity of the site.

Hello All,

 

Just a little bit of information on the xbox gm connected league to get you going should you be as interested as Diode apparently is. The gm connected league for NHL, much like Madden, involves an exact representation of the NHL season (when not affected by a lockout). It's 2 conferences of 15 teams playing an 82 game season followed by 3 rounds of 7 game series playoffs to get to the best of 7 Stanley Cup Finals. There is also an automated draft in the post season and trading between teams.

 

We run 2 in-game calendar weeks for every actual week and the league advances every Sunday. This means you will have to play @ 6 or 7 games every week against a mixture of cpu and player opposition. While this may seem a lot of games it is manageable as a hockey game will average 20 minutes of play. FSL use is actively encouraged to ensure that all player/player fixtures are arranged and completed in a timely manner.

 

Currently there are 12 players in the league, 6 in each conference and we are part way into our second season.

Bit of a shame would love to try it but would have to leave Madden and am enjoying the Pro7 Eagles and UKML *spit* Giants franchises and its more manageable

The GM connected mode is great and QL/Bettman rules it with an iron fist.

Like the Argentinian police he's firm. Firm but fair.

Would be great to see a few people jump on it. We had a really good group of 16-18 players but for one reason or another we have lost a few and with that the second season is a foregone conclusion in terms of people making the post-season. Would be great to get a few new faces in to get the interest up a bit.
