VIP's and Admin would like to gauge site opinion on what people are looking for in a league with regards to quarter length and (for online franchises) how many games per week.

This doesn't mean that current set-ups will change, but is a way of finding out what is wanted for any future leagues.

8 mins, it would cut overall playing time down by 10-15 mins.

i like the 10 mins and 2 games a week for pro fran and wouldnt change that, but for m13 if i play in a second league ( i will be in ukml ) id like that to be the 5 day advance as it currently is with 7-8 mins

basically for the site i think you need a mixture

thats as clear as mud isnt it and wont help at all

I like 8 min quarters, 7 is too short I think.

For advances I think every 5 days or so works best....

As this league will most likely replace the fantasy franchise. I would say once every 5 day advance and 10 min quarters would be appealing and be something we haven't currently got running.

Will people currently in the Fantasy Fran get first choice of joining the league? Doesnt bother me either way as i dont know if i want to be in 4 leagues anyway but just wandering as its replacing the Fantasy Fran.

We'll talk about that at a later date. Just want to gather opinion on what people are looking for

Would advancing it every 5 days get 3 seasons in?

That would be my preference, with 8 minute quarters.

Yes Buncey, every 5 days gets 3 seasons in easy with a bit of room to spare. Probably allowing a break at Xmas for example.

pro franchise shouldnt change imo

feel 2 games a week with 10 min quarters works great as we get 5 seasons in

No proposals to change either the Pro Franchise ( 2 games per week / 10 minutes ) or the UKML Franchise ( 1.5 games per week 7 mimute quarters )

What we are realistically looking at here are the preferences for the replacement for the Fantasy Franchise. It boils down to the following:

2 games per week = 5 seasons

1.5 games per week = 3 seasons

1 game per week = 2 seasons ( as Fantasy was )

And the length game times people prefer.

A little stat for you all. In the PFL this season, with 10 min qtrs and 20 sec acc clock run off, you get an average of just under 49 plays per team per game
