Although I've not played much madden over the past two years, I have been around these parts for a fair few years and participated in many leagues/events. As I've done many times previously, I'd like to express my gratitude to all admins and staff members who put tremendous amounts of time and effort it to helping create a sustainable and fun environment for madden geeks. With regards to the shout box I think Davo is bang on the money. When I used to be a league member and regular visitor to the site, I used to love the shout box as much as the next man. However, when I decided to give madden the elbow I still fully intended to visit and contribute to the forums regularly. The problem was that it was very apparent to me how, apart from the madden league tabs, the site was very quite with most activity happening on the shout box. As I was no longer a member of a league, I quickly felt far more detached from the site than I had intended. I know I could have made more of an effort, but more threads should help recreate the vibrancy the site had 3 years or so ago and help sustain all the leagues within it. Big thanks to Riggs and Joe

I would fully expect to pay up front for this. I'm also with Mcmanus in the fact that you could round the price up a pound or two just to cover postage or any unexpected costs. If anything is left over you could treat yourself to a new gimp mask, I mean bottle of wine or put it in to the community.

Defo sticking with my 360 for the remainder of this version of madden. Not sure yet on which next Gen console I'll be geting but probably leaning towards the XBone.

What make shirt are they? when getting stuff stiched/printed for the Youth rugby league team I coach I always go for fruit of the loom as the quality is very goodand they usually cost in the region of £5 per shirt. Depending on what make will determine if I need xl or xxl

Your exactly right about the NTSC/PAL thing, I have MLB2k11 which is NTSC, but for some reason played on PAL machines and the graphics and colours are just as good as I would expect from a bonefied PAL game. I have not looked too much into the next Gen's yet, but like you I want the option to be able to play more US sports games, if only the PS4 gives me that option, then that is what I will plump for.

Has anyone experienced connection issues in this version of madden? My connection is usually bang on, however, because of the past vulnerability of the madden servers I alway play madden with my ethanet cable plugged into the xbox. I don't have any issues with any of the other games I play online (wirelessly) or in madden until 2 nights ago. I arranged to play my pro fran game and was getting well and truely tonked when we were booted from the ea servers. This didn't kick me off xbl, but it did freeze the xbox so I had to switch off and log in again. I offered to let my opponent play the cpu, but we arranged to replay the fixture last night when mid-way through the 3rd qtr the exact same thing happened. I know that my internet connection did'nt drop on either occassion and neither did my opponents so this has us puzzled. I remember in madden 11, there was a stange issue where certain players could play all their games without an issue except for a particular player or team where games could never be completed. This varied so it could not be attributed to one person and was a bug in that particular version. I just wonder if a similar issue is around in M13 and would like to know if anyone has had similar issues.?

Are the rumors true that the lingerie football league will be streamed live through the main site when it re-launches?

It's a shame that it has come to such a decision having to be made, but this was always inevitable imo. Grant has been around for a while and was often funny but never far away from controversy. If you just look at the single comment made the other night, then his banning may seem harsh, but in reality Grant has attempted to make a career out of posting senseless comments in an attempt to annoy or upset people to then hide behind the fact that "it was only a joke". It must have been tough for Alan to make such a big decision, but in the end Grant made it for him and he is most certainly not the victim here.

Welcome back Soulman. I played you a few times back in the day and remember been partial to some of your rants, very witty at times. I wonder if we should get Grant to open a betting thread on who will be the next ex coach to crawl out of the woodwork

I love using the mics and fnd that it adds another dimension to the league set up. I know it's just a game, but I feel using the headset plays a part in keeping people actively engaged as you get to develop relationships with people. A few times, I could have easily thrown the towel in on M12, but didn't want to leave the league because fo the great community and I am sure I am not alone in having those thoughts. It also provides you with some quality lol moments. Just the other night I was playing Quietlife, when I joined the game I said the usual hello good luck etc but got no response so didn't think he had his headset on. In the 3rd qtr of the game he throw a long bomb which my corner batted down, unfortunately it bounced of about 3 players hands before his wr caught it for a big gain. Forgetting that I had left my mic on I spouted "you lucky c**t" which was greeted by a barrel of laughs from Quitelife as he was there afterall That been said, if I have had a crap day and don't feel particularly chatty, or the Mrs is gnoshing me off whilst I play , I keep the chat to the bare minimum.
