Hi all, Please can you assign your chosen teams by editing your profile. In the edit profile page please scroll down to Xbox/PS4 user teams and select your team. This will then assign your teambars to your profile. I have completed a small update in that you will now be able to click on the teambars and it will direct you to daddyleagues.com specific team within your franchise. This will be of benefit when scouting teams, trades for yourself and commissioners, and wanting to look at yours or others teams as and when you desire. Lads, You may or may not have noticed I've not been around lately, I've been thinking about this for a while now & I've decided that I'll be stepping down as commissioner and having a break from Madden for a bit. I want to focus my spare time on some other things and feel I can't give the site & the league the time it needs anymore. I don't want to be that commish who just posts fixtures and that's it. I feel it needs someone who can put the time in and I'm just not that guy at the moment. Hopefully with a bit of time out I might rekindle some desire to play in the leagues again. I've told the other commissioners, @SnapDan will be taking over my roll for Pro10 and will be announcing plans moving forward for M18 I'll still be around visiting the site and in the fantasy & stuff. @Xbox Commissioner @PS4 Commissioner You guys can now tag an entire group for ease of use in fixtures, and any league announcements. I will later this evening break the profiles up again into franchise groups ie: Arena Coaches/PFL Coaches/PS4 PFL Coaches/Evolution coaches. Im just trying to reduce your workloads guys

Complete seal of approval here. Great team of initially 3 @DanMcGrath77 is experienced in running franchises (Pro10), regular on these boards, great player/team owner, fantastic chap to chat on game days over the mic.. Clearly the no1 person I would want running this franchise. @Vondia having only got to know him on M18 I have nothing but great things to say about the chap. Again a top class and I mean top class bloke to chat with on the mic. Podcasts are a great listen, and by the way I have only ever listened to MaddenPFL. My employer provides us podcast I don't listen, Dolphins provide podcasts I don't listen that tells you something. A great asset to MaddenPFL.com and the PFL xbox. @Mcmanus Again a theme is developing, a true gent both on the mic, in the forum's and in person. Had a great time and chat with him on the meet up other year in Manchester. Another great asset to Maddenpfl.com. There was so many worthy candidates to take ownership of this franchise and so many could easily do the job to a great standard making us a Premier Franchise community. But realistically a decision was needed as Madden 19 is just around the corner (I have just downloaded the full game). I would like to add that my activity has been down some since taking ownership of backend duties, but after speaking with a member it probably not known how much really goes on behind the scenes taking a hell of a lot of my time. I am a family man with four kids and a beautiful wife all of which I adore. My current employment is known to most and in this day and age is a hard slog and times of austerity cause my chosen field to dictate when I work and that includes my rest days which are no longer my rest days. With regards to MaddenPFL backend everyday I receive half a dozen emails from our cpanel that controls our site detailing improvements and errors that occur. I have to correct each one, as they arrive. A simple update to the forum's software I complete at daft o'clock as to not affect this community and brings so many challenges and errors. Last night's update was an bum and I fixed the coding errors at 2am and was driving then to work 4 hours later. Oh and same goes for our website. Being transparent our funding is good, and we are self sufficient thanks to our VIP's, we have a positive bank balance each and every month our server, forums software and domain fees are paid MaddenPFL will be in a position to renew daddyleagues.com subscriptions for the three franchises if the commissioners so wish. Thank you all for a great Madden 18 and I am looking forward to M19 being even better. I would ask if anyone has any suggestions for improvements to content, features, software, subscriptions to contact me by PM. Also if you would like to discuss or disagree with the commissioners chosen I will gladly discuss this with you. I have honestly done what I think best for this world class community. Hello girls I'm back to give the leagues another go. I'm a big boy drinker unlike someone on this site and I also enjoy long walks in the middle of the motorway, dogging and sucking on riverman's hot nuts. Lets go Big Blue

Ok guys so I have been thinking of ways to keep the league interesting outside of playing games and growing the sites profile. Want to use this to brainstorm some things that you guys might think make the league more enjoyable and different to other leagues. So far: I have been speaking with the creator of a twitter bot called recap, when daddy leagues is synced it posts results, it has a great little picture of the stadium with the score and then some player stats underneath, this is a great tool and twitter is something I want to use more to increase the sites profile, I will be using it as a social feature about the league rather than using it to recruit and hopefully people who see it, want to be a part of it and sign up. Obviously match reports are going to be a must to be in the league and then i'm hoping each team can do 1 blog/report a season atleast (again 4 posts between september 17/ August 18 is not a lot to ask) Bring back highlight of the month - this used to be around and then stopped but it was a great thing. I can get individual highlights posted out on twitter keeping it active, then we can do a video that members can vote on and then add the end of the year put all the months winners together to do an end of year winner. PFL H.O.F - Quite shocked there is not one of these already? I am suggesting that when season 4 is coming to an end we start to nominate players for H.O.F, could be a player from your team, a player from another team then after all 32 coaches have put forward a player, we could split them in positions and vote in one per position or just vote from the list and have say 5 players make it. It would be good for activity on the site between july/august and would also be nice whether you win games or not to have a chance of having a player go into the H.O.F and stay on the PFL site as long as it exists. PFL TOP 50 - Similar to the NFL's top 100 at the end of each season I will be doing (with help if anyone wants to help) a PFL top 50, this will be announced on twitter as a countdown in 5s per day and then added to the site 1-50 kind of thing. Think this will be a good little time/activity filler during the wait from play offs to pre season. It's what happens outside of games what makes a league most enjoyable, I would love to hear some ideas whether you plan on playing next year or not

Hey guys, it’s been awhile I know. I want apologize for my abrupt leaving. I want to apologize for not telling you all why I left. I had something life changing occur to my wife that shook us to our core. Out of respect for her privacy, I won’t elaborate on what that is, but know that she will ok. I’m still trying to wrap my head around things right now but just wanted to let everyone know (those that give at s**t at least) that I’m not dead. I’ll eventually come back to the leagues but not sure when that will be. I’ll pop in periodically to say hi and whatnot. Take care!

Gents! So after some discussing behind the scenes @TopLoader appointed me and @DanMcGrath77 to run the PFL next year after our leader from this year stepped down. @Mcmanus will be our co-commish and @tripperman28 is gonna first try and set the Arena up again and after that might join the team as well if it’s needed. @dr_volki is gonna keep doing his write-ups based on the stats provided by madden 19. And we got a ghost writer who’s gonna do write-ups about the league anonymously. Exciting things to come and we’re looking forward to keep building this community. Announcements about the big items for madden 19 will come soon after we’ve set everything up.

Server upgrade, could have waited until tonight, but wanted to get it out of the way and not be faffing about at butt f**k o'clock if s**t went pear shaped. Just so happened that during the switch, the domain ownership also switched from me to @TopLoader, which essentially means that MaddenPFL and everything therein is now owned by the man himself. There will be another outage in the next week or two where Toploader switches over to MaddenPFL owned hosting and then its 100% complete. Hello everyone, Would like to join your community and participate in some of the leagues. I heard about madden PFL from my good friend Rayski. I watch football and play madden since 2006, however I had not played for the past 2 years. I bought an Xbox a few weeks back and can't wait to compete again. Would like to join the Arena league first if possible.

I want to apologise to all coaches and commissioners my activity on the site and arranging games has been appalling I have had some personal issues that needed dealing with also I have started a new job that is a lot more full on to what I was doing before and have been doing intensive training I have had a friend staying with me for the past month as he is having marital issues I've jus got back from a week in New York so to say I've a bit going would be an understatement I care a lot about the site and the leagues things are settling down now so I will be a lot more active just wanted you all to know I haven't just sacked off the leagues cheers lads

(Applications in the menu bar) Now an application system is in place whereby you can apply for staff jobs, commissioner vacancies and come Madden 20 apply to be in the franchises we will be running. This system is a great bit of kit for us admin, it will promote members into the relevant groups upon successful application ie: apply to join PS4 Evolution Franchise and successful it will promote you from member to Evo Coach and all the permissions that comes with the profile. It also places a thread within our staff forums for those with access to discuss each application. Onwards and upwards TopL0ader

Hi all, Invited over here by a member of the site with a glowing recommendation (shanew1705). Bit of an NFL newbie, football (soccer) has always been my main sport of choice although the I've followed NFL loosely for a few years. This year I will be a little different however as after slowly getting a bit fed up of the money train that is the premier league and the limited competition year in year out I have decided to follow the NFL as my main sport of choice this year. I've always been drawn to the giants and so spent the last few months watching all of their games from last year aswell as countless documentaries in the history of the franchise. My interest in the sport have grown dramatically over the last 3 months and I'm very much looking forward to the season ahead. Very similar story with madden, always been a FIFA man but for very much the same reasons as above I will be getting madden 18 on launch and will spend the year learning both the sport and the game. Long way to go before I get my head around everything but everybody has to start somewhere right? Enough rambling from me, thanks for having me!!

Just a quick note to all our Xbox coaches out there. Don't be a duck head!( yes I know I’m one to talk) There’s been a few instances in which members old and new have had problems with chat (GroupMe) and in-game behavior. Its simple, only trash talk guys you know can take it. Always ask your opponent if they want you to “play your game” or chew clock when things aren’t going their way. If you don’t know or can’t confirm if they are cool with banter or you pounding them in-game, then err on the safe side and take it as easy as possible. We all should be able to enjoy all that this community offers, but that shouldn’t be at the expense of other members enjoyment.

Recent events in my folks house hold have not been great for the end of this year, and a little of this may have unfortunately splilled over in to game play or chat. My father has been diagnosed with advanced terminal bowel cancer,(back in September this year) it's the second time he's had the misfortune to be struck with this type of cancer, although as I say, it has become aggressive and now rather advanced and terminal. He's not doing great with it, who would, I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy, and unknowingly, the stress sometimes comes through at intervals when least expecting, like the middle of a game. Thankfully it hasn't yet. So if I seem to be talking a lot more garbage than usual during a game, let me know, I may be taking it out where I shouldn't, and if I do I can only apologise in advance to you all. If it does become too much, and it will, I shall AP my team for the foreseeable. I have put this meeage in here as I do feel it is of importance to let you all know. Brian.

@SnapDan @helimachoptor Thing is how do you adjust sliders when teams have players injured and some do not? Its a sim game - I have three 85+OVR starters out including Freeman but hey it is what it is - NEXT MAN UP Probably as close to sim than it has been for years and years - you want 100% inj free season then go offline I say keep as is, and will probably now lose Ryan and Jones next week but my mind wont change I have always tried to go depth and for the first Madden I have ever known its becoming relevant - have seen too many GM's over the years build a team of starters then have 60+ OVR as back ups with no consequence

Just an update on this, I rung up today as I thought it had been a while but they still haven't finalised details, they recommended to call back in a month so I'll try mid-August

@SnapDan when joined I was in the pro 7 there was no spaces in Xpress or UK ML at the time, it was good friendly games advanced one a week, basically it helped me find my feet while I waited for an opening in the Xpress, in the process I played guys like @RainbowDoc @PatsUK danmcgrath shatners and had good banter with them as i learned and I've stuck around since, I'm up for doing something easy going like that again for other new comers to the site

Going to attempt this evening moving our servers to a UK VPS. This should improve the speeds for UK /Euro members. If successful the server is more powerful, more memory, larger hard drives and overall more efficient. Good news there also cheaper monthly. The servers and all services will go down this evening including the forum's. Please do not worry a back up will be made and should problems arise the existing server will be brought back online. Little update to the site in terms of layout. Xbox (Team Green) & PS4 (Team Blue) have had their respective forums split. This is for ease of use and PS4 are deserving of their own forums. Looking to the future and possibility of implementing Team Green vs Team Blue competitions on site and comparisons of activity, posts, tweets, streamed games. Just to get us Team Green's motivated here's what the Blue leader @Beyond The Game is preaching to his Blue clan Fight time Green's!

Hello all, My names Andrew. Not been playing CFM long but had various maddens since 99. Played MUT and normal franchise mode for a few years but never that regularly. Im a scouser that lives in Manchester. Seem to get ripped for that a fair bit in SML and VGFL. I’m not very good, so bear with me. I am a packers fan but have chargers now in two CFM leagues, I hated them beforehand and now I actually quite like them.

Currently on a busy set with work (ends Wednesday thank god!) I am almost settled and decided with services and packages that we need to keep the site going, Prices will be made apparent to all in due course. I have set a MaddenPFL paypal account up initially in order to be as transparent as possible re any funds both received and services paid for. Again these details will be made apparent to all in due course. The transition from DavoteK to I wont be immediate, once the domain of maddenpfl.com is transferred to me, then I can move forward with ordering the services required and then the seamless transfer of the data will happen. I plan on using the same forum we have now that is Invision Community, and also use a VPS from Servint which currently host MaddenPFL. Reasoning is that the data can be migrated in house thus limiting any disruption in service. We would only be tied into a rolling monthly contract with the VPS, but I plan on looking at alternatives both cheaper but have to offer the same if not better service in the future to benefit MaddenPFL. Exciting times ahead at MaddenPFL. I will be looking at developing a small plan going forward looking at making MaddenPFL a true franchise and becoming Europe's largest recognised Madden community. The plan would be all behind the scene's and staff/community having a say before any decision is finalised. I will NOT interfere in the daily running of the community by the current admins who I will praise again are doing an amazing job I am here to support admins in any way if required to do so. Hi guys and girls, Long time gamer, not giving my age away but my first 'console' was a Spectrum 48K! Remember the days of the first wave of NFL action to the UK in the early 80's. Lost touch with the game until a trip to Tampa during a family holiday in 2012 to watch the Bucs play the Chiefs and been a massive Bucs fan since then. Love the NFL, I'm a contributor to NFLGirlUK (usually NFC South ramblings!), love Fantasy Football, love gaming (PS4) especially Madden but never played CFM so looking forward to it. Almost exclusively played MUT but got to the stage where I was fed up grinding solos as I refuse to buy packs. Also, MUT can get quite lonely sometimes..... I am also a diehard Dons fan (Aberdeen) so shout out to any fellow sheep out there Cheers Stuart

Think we should have two league's. One main one and a secondary one more relaxed where new players can join. Think it would be sad if we have a limit on the site for only 32 coaches and anyone else or new joiners have to wait potentially months for a space to open up. Fair enough the pro 8 has a lot of simmed games but surely people would prefer some simmed games rather than no league. I am volunteering to commissioning, have some spare time now so can put in the effort needed.
