PFL: Coaches of the year winners NFC & AFC season 1

So the people have voted and for the NFC @Bos was voted as coach of the year comfortably. And in the AFC it was a tight race where both @biharowski and @RamsDan received 6 votes, since one of those 6 for Ramsdan was his own pick we decided to name Biharowski coach of the year.

So we all know these coaches but what did they think of their season and about being coach of the year?

Bos:

Why do you think your peers voted for you?
I think it’s because I had a lot of close games and kept my interest up in the league with write ups, streaming and trades. A big part of it was that the Cards don’t have the best roster though and I managed to have a good record in spite of that.

Are you happy with the performance of your team in season 1?
I was delighted with it. Despite injuries making things difficult at times at running back and defensive tackle, I plugged in a lot of other players to get good production from to keep my run going.

What can we expect from you in season 2?
With Danny back in the division to rekindle the rivalry from last season, I think it’ll be a really close division. With the strengthening of my team though, I’m looking at the playoffs once again and I want to do one better this year and get a playoff win which I haven’t had in a while.

Biharowski:
Why do you think your peers voted for you?

I think they voted for me because I talk a lot on the chat about how great I’m going to be and this is the first time I actually had an above 0.500 record. :D On a more serious note, I think I improved a lot, corrected some of my mistakes and had some close games with top players.

Are you happy with the performance of your team in season 1?
I can’t say I’m happy with my results. I expected to make the playoffs, I didn’t expect to exit it in the first round. I also lost some games I shouldn’t have and I let Vondia run away with the division title even tho I had multiple chances not letting it happen.

What can we expect from you in season 2?
Season 2 is most definitely going to be about replacing Brady. Can’t expect my rookie to make all the throws like he did. Going to be more careful with the ball and try not to turn it over as much as I did last season. The main focus is definitely going to be winning the turnover battle and win the division. DaBurg is back, with that the division got even harder in my opinion. Looking forward to the season.

Again congrats to you two and all the best for next season!(except you ofc. @biharowski
