The truth is that I’m not trying to organise some mega maddenpfl meet up, it’s just a fun night out that we have been doing for a long time and the location is good for the people that have supported it. I genuinely have no issues with someone else organising another one in London, the South, Ireland etc The more the merrier

You are welcome to organise one in London or somewhere else, fine by me, nothing wrong with having more than one The reason we have it in Manchester is that it’s handy for the people who have been going for many years now, who are primarily from the North and Scotland. London is fine if you are from London or the South, but it’s also very expensive to get to, stay in and drink in

I’ll be paying the main batch in about 10 days mate, that will guarantee a seat. I can add them on after that on an ad hoc basis, but obviously can’t say for certain at that point that you have a seat until I speak to them, as they have a capacity they can’t go over. It’s never been a problem before, but obviously the earlier you commit the less chance they have sold out

Firstly, sorry it’s taken so long Would love to say blame me, but the truth is that the HRC are just absolutely terrible. Anyway, it’s sorted now so the details are.. Sunday 4th Feb at the Hard Rock Cafe, Manchester. Suggested hotel if needed is the Premier Inn Manchester Arena/Printworks where I believe rooms are still £30 Its £15 deposit (it’s gone up from a tenner, I know), to be paid now, which gets you a reserved seat, entry drink (normally a bottle of Bud) and halftime nachos. We have a table right in the middle if you know the HRC, on the raised part right in front of the big screen. We can get in from 10pm, we usually meet up mid afternoon in a pub, go for food then get down there for 10. It’s currently booked for 16 (how many came last year) but that’s flexible Ive tagged the people below who came last year, but is is open to absolutely anyone on the site of course, good chance to have some banter with fellow coaches and a lot of ex coaches, enjoy the game etc Only one change from last year, I’ve asked them not to allow a table wide tab. I missed most of the second half last year trying to sort it out and ended up chucking £20 of my own money in to even it up after people ‘forgot’ what they’d ordered. So you can open your own tab which you’re repsonsible for, or go to the bar If you want to book a place, it’s £15, if you have my bank details or Paypal from last year they are the same, otherwise drop me a PM and I will furnish you with them. Places aren’t reserved until the money is paid, obviously. Very questionable how wise this is, but I’ve just booked a holiday leaving on the Monday morning from Manchester at 11:30 on a 9 hour flight. With a 3 year old. Bearing in mind I normally feel like aids on the morning after this it probably isn’t going to be ideal
